Is HideFace free to use?

Yes! HideFace offers a free tier that allows you to process a limited number of images. For users who need more processing capacity, we offer affordable subscription plans with additional features and higher usage limits.

Do I need to create an account?

You can use basic features without an account. However, creating a free account gives you access to more features, higher usage limits, and the ability to save your preferences.

Privacy & Security

Are my photos stored on your servers?

No. Your privacy is our top priority. All image processing happens directly in your browser (client-side). We do NOT upload, store, or retain your photos on our servers. Your images never leave your device.

Is my data safe?

Absolutely. We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) for all communications. Since image processing happens locally in your browser, your photos remain completely private. We also never sell or share your personal information with third parties.

Do you use my images to train AI models?

No. We do NOT use your images for AI training or any other purpose. Your photos are processed locally and are never accessed by us.

Can I process multiple photos at once?

Yes! With a subscription plan, you can batch process multiple images at once, saving you time when you need to hide faces in many photos.

What image formats are supported?

HideFace supports common image formats including:

Is there a file size limit?

Free users can process images up to 5MB. Subscription users can process larger images up to 20MB.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

What happens to my credits if I cancel?

The face detection isn't working. What should I do?

If face detection isn't working properly:

  1. Ensure the image is clear and well-lit
  2. Check that faces are visible and not too small in the image
  3. Try refreshing the page and uploading again
  4. Make sure your browser is up to date
